ADAM Powell

About The Owl

Adam Powell was born at the age of zero in Dublin, Ireland. He has been keenly interested in animation since he was old enough to hold a pencil. Adam started to teach himself animation around the age of 12 when he discovered YouTube and Newgrounds, and became fascinated with the online animation community.

Adam spent four years studying animation at Colaiste Dhulaigh in Dublin, and was awarded the degree of Bachelor of Arts in Animation, from The University of Wolverhampton, in 2019. His student film, Serpent City, was selected to be screened at Animation Dingle's 2020 event, which was entirely online because something happened.

Adam currently resides in the swamps of Kilkenny. 

Adam's interests include owls, skeletons, Italian food and drinking way too much coffee. His favourite artists are Jamie Hewlett, Milt Kahl and Tyson Hesse. He looks forward to becoming a world-famous director and settling down with his wife, Salma Hayek, and their several beautiful children. He also swears that he didn't write this bio himself and format it in the third person so it sounds like he didn't.
